I was telling a lifelong friend in the ice shack this weekend a story another lifelong friend of mine had that he hadn't heard about. He was laughing his balls off, because of how dumb it was. it was during the summer of my junior year in college and i was working my first job in the field and was realizing how bad of a monetary idea i had chosen in careers. This friend of mine, we'll call him "Kurt" and I discussed at end a situation where we'd flip for who would get a cooking job at McDonalds. Kurt lost. So it would be Kurt who would take a poop on a bun and serve it to me. I would bite into the burger and then sue McDonalds for trillions and we would split the dough. However, that was just the initial idea. we discussed the many many ways that wouldnt work and finally came up with way it would work. We never carried through though.

Can anyone beat that dumbness?

When I was 13 I skated of the top of my parents house into the empty swimming pool. This was a big 2 story house and the deep end of the pool was was like 12'. The idea was to have the skate board catch on side pool. Kinda like dropping in on a half pipe but with out anything to drop in on. I ended up breaking both legs, my left arm, my left collar bone, cracked my head open and had to have 15 staples in it.

I have opened and looked at most of the posts that you have made MB. I think that counts.

Getting a degree in environmental science with a minor in golf turf management... Stupid stupid stupid. Shoulda went for engineering or computer science so I could make some damn money.

Actually I will take that back. I just hate my boss. Would like to make more money though for sure.

One time we found a giant wooden spool used for power lines. I ripped off a couple boards and climbed in. If you can't tell by now, we were all pretty wasted. So I'm in the spool, braced in a cartwheel position and get my buddies to push me down the hill. Luckily the trees at the bottom of the hill stopped me before I reached the river.

After we rolled the spool back up the hill, my buddies girlfriend gets in with me. That was a good run

We kept it up untill someone bled all over the inside and nobody wanted to get in there anymore

I convinced a guy to bend a piece of soldering wire and shove it into an electrical outlet back in high school. It melted instantly and flew all over the place

scared the shit out of everyone in the room.

Was about 7-8 and decided if I put a couple pair of those inflatable arm things to learn to swim on my feet and legs I could walk on water. I jumped in and flipped right upside down. Not exactly what I had envisioned. Luckily my neighbor saw it happen and saved my dumb ass.

Wow Rozzo, I seriously did that same thing at a neighbors pool. Threw my arm booties into the pool and jumped in after them. Mom came just in time. Holy crap that's weird.

Over qualified golf course maintenance man.

Golf course Maint. is better put as finescale landscape arch. I dont have a major in that but have friends who do and its fun for them. especially considering they love golf. There is the same fallout though. When you get into env science you are trying to reside in the areas that give you purpose or resolve in everyday life, but what happens is the places you found peace turn into a workplace and it can incinerate your soul.

Grabbed a homemade cattle electric fence because my friend dared me to. I think I was 14 at the time. That bitch didn't have a pulse setting either. Luckily the voltage was strong enough to knock me off my feet or else I would have been fried. Felt like somebody hit me in the chest and both shoulders with a sledge hammer.

Also decided to roller blade down the steep, huge hill in my neighborhood without a helmet on. Wiped out near the bottom and split my head open real bad.

Those are the first couple that come to mind.

I grabbed an electric fence once also. I could only feel a little tingle and got to thinking how such a little sho k would bother such a large animal. I decided it must be my shoes so I kicked them off and grabbed it again.......yep, it was the shoes.
