Today is the one year anniversary of AT declaring that PBR was even too cheap for him. Apparently I was so dumbfounded I created a "PBR is too cheap even for Assa" day in my phone calendar. Love it when I leave gems for myself random places.

You set a reminder for it. That's both awesome, and kind of sad, but in a really funny way.
It was a big deal when it happened. It's still in Indawood's sig.

PBR, Blatz, Special Export, and Old Style are components of what I like to refer to as "The Core Four". They are the foundation upon which any irreconciliable drinking problem is built.
If all of a sudden you decide your too snoody for PBR, you are left with "The Core Three".
Not right.

PBR is horrible. And furthermore, it's been appropriated by hipsters which, even if it was delicious, is a fine reason to never drink it. Feel free to substitute Hamm's or Natty Bo, although the last may be a local thing.

The ironic thing is I GUARANTEE I was wasted when I put that in my phone.

Hamms and Black Label are both worse than PBR

Hamms should take PBR's place, WAY better!

Anything "Ice" you should just get a kick in the nuts for. Beer is a time-honored tradition, worthy of respect and gravitas. To introduce trendy nonsense is akin to putting hazlenut creamer in coffee, pineapple on pizza, or walnuts in brownies. Take whatever "Ice" products you see and smash them, whether in your refrigerator or the corner store. If they have a problem with it, scream "PURITY" over and over again until they leave you alone.

I'd try that because it looks cool. Well, that, and it's $3 a sixer.

If you think PBR sucks, you'd lack the ability to articulate what you thought of that stuff. And let's face it AT, you are a poetic motherfucker sometimes.

This is all well and good but if next you're gonna tell me its un-American to add bacon to my cheese burger then - adios amigo.

Did I say no bacon on cheeseburgers? No, I did not. Bacon on anything is very much American. Bacon is America. Just look at all the people who hate us- no bacon. Eff them. Let them put pineapple on their hummus and STFU.
