Trying to compete with max4... It's funny around here I'd say 80% of the time max4 doesn't suit the situation. Mossy oak breakup or something similiar would be better for most places we hunt but everybody still wears max4. Guessing just bc it's so purty.

max 4 is way to dark IMO. From more than 100 feet it looks like a black suit.

So, I can't see the web page at work. Are they canning duck blind, or just that they are coming out with a new shadow grass pattern?

I like duck blind too. Thats what I bought my 5in1 coat in and I think it looks pretty good. Blends into the corn and cattails pretty good.

They are coming out with an open water duck blind pattern as well. All they had to do was change the colors a little

The more I see this muddy water camo the more I like it. Seems like it would be good for around here.

I'm in. If I had a "regular" fishing boat, I'd be out there in it next season in a lawn chair with a fishing rod, with my shotgun sitting next to me. I guarantee I'd kill ducks.

I've tried that on early geese and it doesn't work....somehow they know.

Killed like 16 geese out of a fishing boat this summer. Shorts, tshirt and flip flops. Think I posted it up on here somewhere. Set the decoys up, started fishing..soon as you hear the geese grab the gun.

I like them. Chunk them up, put them in a baking dish with some diced apples, sprinkle with salt, pepper, and a little cinnamon. Don't eat the apples, though.

Most people say that about mergansers...just about everyone that has said that has never tried one. I can't tell the difference between a merganser and a GE, BB, Buffie, or any other similar duck.

I've tried merganser. That is the only food that I could not stomach. I forced myself on the 3rd bite, and it was all I could handle. Felt sick at that point.

Granted, I didn't do a thing to prepare them, just fried them up in some worchester sauce, but still.

And Assa, I'm no duck snob. I'll pop a buffie if it comes near, it just means I have to work a little harder cooking them. I laughed at the "don't eat the apples" tho.

I hardly mask anything on any game animal, unless I'm making some fancy fufu dish. Guess I jyst like the flavor of "wild" Go to the WFF hunt and I'll cook you some divers..you won't know what you're eating.
