so how does this happen, just shooting at a hard object that you shouldnt be? Im guessing they were shooting at iron in the first video?

Thats what happens when you shoot at warped steel plates. Had it happen to me one time. Bro was shooting a .22 pistol and I was standing completely away from the firing line. Bullet bounced back and hit me in the leg. Though I had gotten stung by a wasp, looked down and was bleeding. Luckily it was only a .22.

What the heck are you guys shooting that ricochets back that far? If it hits square enough to come back at you, any lead bullet should damn near be flat. Especially if the steel is swinging freely. I just don't for the life of me see how that happens.

you shoot a gun then have someone with a string pull your ear muffs off. Little sons effects and boom. There ya go.

The first time I shot a rifle was when I was 11. Skipped school and snuck the 22 out and started shooting stuff.
I was pretty dumb...well extremely dumb.
Went to an overpass. Lots of concrete. Seemed safe to me at the time.
Was more concerned about getting caught than actual safety so by that definition...it was a safe place.
I was shooting the rifle under the overpass on interstate 57...lol.
NOT SAFE!!!
I shot a rock or something and either a piece of rock or the ricocheting bullet got me right in between the eyes. That ended that. Went home and had to explain the scratch on my head.
HOW did I ever survive to get to be 21? Made it somehow.
