$39 for a brick of 22s? I don't even want to know how much centerfire rounds are going for.

Uh where have you been the last 4 months? Prices were high, but jumped even higher!

I haven't had to buy ammo in awhile, still don't need to, just noticed this while in a sporting goods store today. Glad I hoarded when it was cheap.

I think thats an outrageous price Rozzo. What kind of 22. I dont buy cheap stuff anymore. It will cycle out of my 10/22 well but not my tube fed marlin. Need the good stuff for the marlin and they are pricey.

I've found that to be exactly opposite, my marlin 60ss cycles EVERYTHING, but I know several rugers that are extremely picky.

My 60 will cycle almost all of the cheap ammo I put into it. It gets real picky with cheap Remington loads. I have put a few thousand Federals through it without a problem.

I have a savage bolt action and I usually just buy whatever is on sale.
