My bumper project

Postby insaneduck » Sat Mar 09, 2013 1:21 am

I have always loved the big steel bumpers such as ranch hand and road armor but not so much the price. I have a bad habit of hitting deer so I feel like I needed it so I decided to build one myself and make it completely custom. The bracket is 6" chanel iron bolted to my frame horns and the body is made of 3/8" steel. The brush guard is 1 1/2" steel tubbing and I got a receiver hitch in front. Now alot is still gotta be done, I got to cut out and place my buckets in it for fog and offload lights. I also got to fiberglass all the low spots and the creases from bending the pipe then it will be braced internally and bedlined inside and out. Im going to run 2 hela black magic 1000 and a 10" pro comp led light bar in the center. My fog and offroad lights that will go in the buckets are pro comp slim line 5" with plasma bulbs.

Here is the grill. I figure y'all will appreciate it, look closely as to what's in it. Ignore the dead bird I intended the pic to be of.
