My Turn...

...to ask for some well wishes. Nothing dramatic, and in the grand scheme of things, it's really very minor. My wife went for a job interview this morning, which would mean less money now, but much larger opportunities in the future. Plus, her current job has become so insanely dramatic and negative that it's taking a stressful toll on her just to go to work in the morning. I hope very much that she gets an offer from this place, as it would greatly help her in many ways. Thanks guys!

Nothing wrong asking for best wishes. I'll include a prayer. Enjoying your work is worth more than alittle extra dough. Good on y'all for recognizing that

If she has to live with you, she already has enough stress in her life.
Good Luck to your wife JL......everything happens for a reason.

Best wishes to your wife.
I'm in a similar spot. I'm waiting on a job to pop up (its a lock for me, buddy is the one hiring). Money less for the first 1 year, but back to normal after that with the chance to go much higher down the road. The job I have now would be great, but I'm working with comeplete ass wipes. Constant drama, and bitching. Can't look past the negativity any longer.

God, please let at's wife take a few really nice things from the office that he would like to have for resale. That damn manager doesn't need all of those mont blanc pens anyhow. P.s. don't let at get caught craigslisting them. What city do you you think is far enough away to not get caught, nyc?

Wishes and prayers sent her way AT. I'm still just a kid but my job is pretty stressful and way too dramatic for a shop full of guys. It makes for a lot of unnecessary ache in your life.

Big Jim,
Best wishes buddy. I hope it all works out in your favor.
You REALLY belong out here as a member of the Kansas Killing Krew. We have talked about you many times, you would fit right in and I know you would enjoy living out here.

Best of luck to her, AT. I've had my share of shitty jobs, and I would not wish any of them on a woman who knows the deer in the freezer was first hit by a car, then beaten with her own hammer, and still allows it to be there.
If she puts up with your emu hunting and hat making shenanigans( I know mine would at least have her hands on her hips , huffing and puffing), but thinks the people at her work are crazy, she deserves a new job.

I know, strange, huh? Me looking forward to less money

That should be a pretty good indicator of how bad her workplace has become.

Like I said mine went through the same thing. It sucks. However she was rewarded a year later with a promotion making considerably more. Still not enough for me to stop working and fish and hunt full time though. You cant have it all I guess.

Some things have a higher value than monetary. If she ain't happy about work and it shows when she's not at work (ie around you), then it ain't worth some dollars.
