TLOR fans here?

Are there any? Besides me?
Not pleased with them turning a book that takes me about 5 hours to read into a 3-part, 6-hour movie...(Hobbit)
NOT buying it because by the time they make the other two movies they'll come out with a new purple-ray player or something that makes the first two episodes obsolete.
This actually happened on TLOR. The first two movies were in VHS and the third wasn't.
Having to keep two or three (or more) machines to view a movie series is very clever marketing strategy.
I should just go buy a new set of movies...right?
Truly HATE when the answer to a problem is, "just go buy".
Our society is just set up that way...throw it away and buy another one. Taxes and profits make the world go around and we don't want it stopping so..."just go buy" (whispered).
