That's great! I've done the fire sprinklers in a few Chinese buffets. They do all the work themselves and really don't seem to know what thier doing. One of the funniest things I've seen is stain and varnish right over pencil marks and stickers. The home depo stickers still on the trim, why bother pealing them off?

Greatest thing I have ever seen.
One of my favorite pic captions.
Flooring. It's like a wall for your feet.

The part about stories like this that irritate me is that this Korean piece of crap thinks he can just do my job for a day or two and end up with a quality project that he's proud to own when it's all said and done. Probably thinks carpenters, plumbers, and the HVAC guys are all ripping him off.
Would like to ask him to a barbeque and tell him the meat is "some kind of meat" and watch how he acted.
The bright side is the guy will eventually hire someone to tear it down and build it right.
I'd have to get a piece of green-treated wood and learn how to say, "termites eat regular white wood" in Korean.

If you told him it was "some kind of meat" he would probably be excited -- he's Korean.

That sucks. You can make your own kimchi. You have to have some sort of container, put the cabbage in it, spice it and bury it in the ground for a certain amount of time.

I'm not making kimchi, just saying there is a way to do it. Agreed way too much fucked up kimchi in the US. The best I've ever had in the states was in San Fransico. The second best I've found was at the asian market in Dallas. I usually buy a few jars every time I go there. I tired to bring some back from South Korea last time I was there(wait between flights) and they wouldn't let me bring it back.

Assa, next time I get out that way I'll snag a jar or two for ya. She makes her own. Everything she cooks is amazing, and theres nothing she'd rather do than cook for a hundred people.
