Burnt my hand on hot melt glue at work yesterday and when they asked me my pain level, all I could think of was Manlyman's rendition of what constitutes a 10. What would you rate this?

Sorry to hear about this hope all goes well for you. I got burnt once by an exhaust manifold on an engine, it wasn't anywhere remotely close to that so I have no idea what that'd be on a pain scale.

No plans to graft. Skin underneath is healthy. Just peeled right off when I pulled the glue off. The scrubbing is a bitch though!

I don't know what that is? They just unwrapped an took a sponge to my digits. Even with the codine it hurt worse than when it first got burned. I am high as a kite and still at about a 5.

Burns suck ass, I've had a lot of injuries but burns take the cake for pain, infection factories and changing te damned bandages when your skin sticks.... Aww fuck man I'm sorry that happened to ya

Had it happen to me. One of the worst pains. Funny thing about burns is the fact that fast cold moving air over it is the best relief.

If it had been up to me I'd given ya a shot of fentanyl and scrubbed like hell. Codeine is some weak stuff for scrubbing a gnarly burn like that. Fentanyl 100xish more powerful than morphine.
