He obviously hates Maryland more than most people hate the inlaws, so what state do you think would be a good fit for this thrifty liberal-hating man?

I hate it too but I'll miss this place. The cold IS the reason why the U.P. is as awesome as it is. Keeps all the yuppies away.

TK, I liked what little I spent in KS. But I'm pretty sure central Texas or northern AZ is the place for me.

Idaho would probably be a decent choice. mild winters, a good attitude of "mind your own fucking business", 4th in amount of public land, tons of shit to shoot, etc.
and since i know some asshole is going to mention the Klan, the people of Hayden Lake drove them out about 10 years or so ago.

Bears are notorious drunks, they fill up on fermented apples in the fall. Pretty funny to watch. Providing the alcohol and getting them drunk and wrestling them just sounds like the logical next step.
