Same here. It's quite the habit. I've been out since 97, and still walk on the sidewalks only. And tuck my hands in the back of my pants.

In Coast Guard boot camp whenever you walked though a doorway you had to lift your foot up like you were walking trough a hatch on a ship. For a month after boot camp I was I was lifting my foot when I walked through a doorway. My family got a good kick out of that one.
