The key is to drink a couple bottles of water and a big Powerade before drinking.

Hangovers are caused by alcohol induced dehydration (and other things)... It takes hours to get rid of dehydration.
If you do it the night before you make a preemptive strike.

Food before and after has always helps to.

Vitaminwater Revive. It's made for hangovers. 2 Motrin. A gallon of sweet tea and a greasy lunch. Hangover cured.

All this fancy shit. (OLD GUY ALERT, OLD GUY ALERT) When we used to get drunk, you got a hangover. That's just the way it was. There was no such thing as Vitaminwater, Rehab, energy drinks, fancy hangover cure powders or nothing. You had water, gatorade, coffee, soda, or a beer. That's it- you just manned up and rode it out. Nowadays, it's all "I want instant gratification, make it go away"

And you only had aspirin or tylenol. Ibuprofen wasn't even around until the mid-80s.

Only cure I've found that always works for a hangover is another drink.

man, my head hurt today! i even made it to all my classes

I've found that a B12 pill helps too. Also pedialyte works to get some good stuff back in ya.

Penicillin is a solid choice too for when your night turns to black.

Yes, a Preemptive strike of antibiotics is always a good policy when all you have to go off of from the night before is a headache and a sticky crotch.
