Glad to see you around. How ya been?

Sent from my phone.

Glad the pup finally puked up that ball. That had to be stressful.

The pup is good now. That superball rode around in his stomach for 2 weeks. I was pretty excited to see it on the floor. I've been busy, most recently we've been setting up a wounded warrior hunt. Other than that, it's life as usual, trying to spend as much time outdoors with the kids as possible. The pup strained a muscle and earned a limp about a week ago, he's just starting to use it again. He's gotten some time off from training and we're only working obedience drills now.

don your life as usual is as about as usual as a chilidog for breakfast.

You set up a Paypal thing yet?

I've heard some real whack shit about the wounded warrior project being all anti gun, your not in cahoots with them at all are you?

I should have called it a disabled soldier hunt, I want nothing to do with the WWP.

No paypal yet, we're switching banks once our final summary is sent over from Delta HQ for the banquet. In a week or two, We'll be good. The hunt isn't until next spring, the benefit shoot isn't until August. We're good.

There's been some talk about...what does * mean?
I'll demonstrate what it means to me. (internet version)

Sometimes I'll post a message or something that can't be edited. I mis-spelled a wrod.
How do I fix it? In the next message, type an asterisk and the correction like this.

*word

That's pretty much the only use of the asterisk symbol that I do.
I've heard that it's incredibly stupid to fuck around with a crazy man's head.

Be happy that dog threw it up. One of the puppies that was born here a year ago had emergency surgery a couple months back because a super ball got stuck and didn't come out. Since it was the emergency vet, the bill was around 3k.

Both the dog and I are lucky it didn't have to come down to surgery. I'm not going to spend that kind of $ on a dog. Cold, heartless whatever, but I wasn't brought up that way.

I'm glad to see this place is what I used to like about other places.

I did, spent 6k on chach when he had issues, I wasn't raised that way either to be honest but I got to tell you, every time I pull up and he's excited to see me it feels like money well spent. If course I had three years into training him so I had more invested...

man John I feel the same damn way. Still try to convince myself I wouldn't spend it. But everyday I get home and see that ole Charlie is the first to greet me with his tail wagging, I stop lying to myself

I've always been that way. If he didn't hunt or wasn't what i wanted in a dog, he'd have been given away, just the same. Dogs are tools and a shovel with no handle or a drill without a chuck is useless. Take out what the key use is... and I have no use for it. We had kennels full of dogs growing up, none in the house. If they weren't studded out, viable producers of quality litters or ready for a field trial, they were gone. We had a bad litter of beagle puppies once, the mother wouldn't feed them and they weren't suckling. When my father saw they were underweight and not going to be lineage we'd be proud of and live up to the kennel name, we drown them. The pups needed to be separated from the mother, she was only going downhill trying to tend to them.

I know that's not the PC thing to do these days, but adding 7 mouths to feed that wouldn't be worth the time and would only tarnish the kennels reputation, they had to go.

It always amazes me. If someone has the money, or doesn't mind finding the money, more power to them. But how dare someone say "if you wouldn't spend $10,000 on your dog, you're a beast who doesn't deserve to have one". Frankly, that's just stupid.

it's the same thing as raising livestock. sometimes you cull for the good of the herd, nothing wrong with that.

My wife might be one of your gf's friends...I'd have to take out a 2nd mortgage to be able to pay to keep the dog around if it were up to her.
