Vermont maple is no different from any other states. Relatives always bring it and there is nothing I can tell that different.

What makes the real difference is the grade and color. Dark all the way.

Each grade has there place, I like a blonde colored syrup on my crepes, darker in my pancakes. 1998 is my favorite vintage of the last 20 years
