The turkey in the yard was a hen it turns out, he booked it into the pines and scurried the minimum 150 yards down the tree line and is calling hoping there is a dumb jake following her. We'll see, is say he has an honest 50/50 chance

No turkey, but, a hen took a nap under his stand, long story on how he got there, pepper the dog foiled Tom 1 and neighbors walking with children foiled jake...

He says he found the roost though, more in the morning on urbanhuntchat.com

What do you mean minimum 150 yards? To be clear of the residential area?

Unless your duck hunting right? We got 500ft or permission but no limit on waterfowl. I got so many cop stories while ducking on shorelines up here. Some outrageous ones too.

Here as long as you are 10 ft from the shoreline, on a public or private w/ permission waterway and outside of city limits, you're good.

I never pictured you living in a subdivision.
