Looks fun. That makes for one hell of an experience and story. That's what life all about. I'd take that over a usually bear hunt over bait that you see on T.V every day.

On the 4th day of my bear hunt, I saw my first ever wild bear. It was a momma and three cubs. Man those cubs were cute.

All I could think was, GET THE FUCK OUT OF HERE. The cubs never saw me, but momma finally smelled me, looked up, and silently dissapeared into the forrest with the cubs bouncing along after her.

It would be another three days before I pulled the trigger....

That is why I would be carrying a S&W 500.

My 30-06 was plenty Strong enough to produce a bang flop shot

I've never had one climb higher up than the stand, but they climb the tree all the time. The trick is to kick them in the face so they stop climbing.

I was guiding an American once and had the time of my life! He was terrified, I think the hunt was his buddies idea. The night went something like this:
Him: Where's you gun?
Me: Don't need one.
Him: Bear mace?
Me: Nope
Him: You don't fear the bears?
Me: not really
Him: what was that?
Me: Racoon, I think.
Him: WHAT THE FUCK IS A RACOON?
Him ten minutes later: Hey, a racoon, is that the same thing as a coon?
We never saw a bear that night but I had fun. Man if you recognize this as your hunt, come back up, I'd love to do it again sometime

No but I like hunting them. I don't shoot them because I have no use for it but they are pretty interesting to watch.
