Figured this one was worth sharing.
I handled this SO well.
On March 16 I received this text:

"This is extremely important:
You won a free cruise vacation. Do not ignore and call-
888-998-6739"

My reply:

"It is extremely important that you call the police...you just texted a man's phone that was murdered. Detective Thomas will be contacting you shortly. Important!"

If you think the cruise is real...by all means, call that number. I triple-dog-dare you.

I got a call yesterday on cell to be informed that apparently I of all the people in NC had won $8000. The guy sounded surprised when I said no thanks just before hanging up. Ten minutes later. My wife got the same call. I guess he was his looking for someone to give the money to.
