...what hash tagging is? She described it as using a # followed by a few words. She's seen it on Facebook and doesn't know why the hell people are doing it. Obviously I have no fucking clue. I figured some of you tweeters might know

A hashtag refers to a word on Twitter preceded by the "#" sign. The hashtag make it easy for Twitter users interested in the same topic to search for Tweets related to the topic. For example, if you want to read Tweets related to music, you could search for "#music" on Twitter. Twitter does not create these hashtags, so you can make your own hashtag if you can't find one that suits your purpose.

My lady does it all the time now too. Bugs the shit out of me so I finally asked her. Her face book is tied into her twitter and her instagram that it recognizes the hash tags and posts them to twatter and instaglam. On instagram and twitter those tags can be searched I think for other people to find.

What are them goofy things in ads that you see on real estate signs called?
They look like an 'extreme' upc symbol. I guess you scan with your phone or something...how does that work you communication geniuses? What is that technology called?

Thanks but I was just effin wit ya. I have no desire to share my location info (etc.) with a company simply because I wanted to try using this weird new technology to look at an ad nested inside of another ad. It's a rather odd gimmick and I think it's time is fleeting.
