I have a 2007 Dodge Ram Bighorn 4x4.
Near the 4x4 switch is a little hole that you can press a button thing with something pointy.
It has a small arrow with an "N" next to it.

What does it do and why would I ever use it?

Have fun...this one is all set up for it. So many ways to pick at....ENJOY!

Yeah. What does it do and why?
My manual is as vague as you.
Thanks.

Puts the tranny in free spin so you don't have to go underneath and physically disconnect the driveshaft to tow it. Which is good, because that was a pain in the ass.

Looked it up. Duh.
It is for when you need pulled or pushed. Towed etc.
Got it.
It dont explain it well in that little book that came with the truck.
So far I never been stuck and went through some close ones.

It's more for long distance towing, behind a moving van or something.

Or when they only have a two wheel tow truck and not a flat bed. Since it's 4x4, it's supposedly hard on the transfer case to tow them with only two wheels.
