Today our local news did a story about Route 66. Every week they highlight a different community.
Was unaware that the highway is paved with bricks there.
Ever drove on a brick road?
Champaign has many streets paved with bricks. Very cool and is a lost art.

A lot of towns around here have brick roads.

Cool. If you've never drove on one, you are missing out.
It's a nostalgia thing and I'm really glad I don't have to drive on them all the time.

I think I'll take a lil drive to Auburn sometime this summer.
It's kinda by where I used to hunt. Should be fun.

The start-finish line is still paved with them.
You mean they call it the brickyard because it was made of bricks?
NO WAY!
