how many do the safety razor or straight blade?

so my birthday was the other day and i suspect my girlfriend got me a safety razor that i've had my eye on. i don't normally shave, but with my new job i have to look professional. who shaves old school and do you have any tips for badger and blade shaving?

Electric mustache & beard trimmer. Quick and leaves a little stubble. I never go with the "booty face" as my black drug dealer neighbor called it when I was at school.

only shave if i will be in court, and i just use some cheap bic razor.
after i cut my hair off for charity i will shave my melon clean everyday and use what ever the ladies leave in the shower

Me2 on that. What fucking sucks is I'll buy a new razor holder/handle and two or three cartridges worth of blades. By the time I need new ones they come out with a completely new style of holder, thus making my old one obsolete.
