Hey Jehler thanks for the thread boss. Mighty proper. Proper as hell!!!! Been taking a break since my last meltdown. Sometimes things get too crazy and I think back to some advice my mother gave me when I was very little. She said "Tiny Beef, If you ever find yourself in a situation where you're in a large group of people and half of them are cops just be yourself and play it cool. If the cops turn on you; you run your little britches off." She is a sweetheart and damn fine gardener. She has two yard cats that keep her company as she weeds her beds. Scratchy and sniffy are decent. Last weekend I rebuilt the transom on my hobby 16' Starcraft Marlin. Cut the new one out with a sawzall cuz I'm me. I gutted the whole thing and will not be replacing the floor (rhino line that bitch). It was originally a side console too by the way. When I bought this property there was tin roof siding stockpiled. I will be using that to make permanent side walls. Got 130$ into this so far. I also want to holler out to my boys; Rebs, Hammertime, ABizzy, Fluffy Nuffy, Billy Bad Apple, ATrizzle, Fowled play, Banksy, MudLock, The Flights, Guns, NV bros, Rozzo, Cast n Blast, Ollie, P-zizzle, Duplex, and snowgoosin1. You all play your cards tight hosses. I got to run.

Your gunna love this cut. Had to though. The transom was wider on the bottom. the corner plates are just placed there. not laced down yet.

Yeah shorty, we get KRUNK up in here. I really like Lil Jon and the East Side Boyz. This song in particular. I put my player on repeat and listen to this all the way to Arkansas... I got the x-rated version though.

In as helpful and nice a manner as possible...I suggest re-cutting that piece. Use the first piece as a pattern and make marks on it showing where, and how much bigger to make it. Good "joinery" requires tight fits for friction to take place. Friction is what hold everything together. The nails, screws, or glue just pin it in place.
I've had to do a piece over before and I think you should do-over. It's GOTTA hold or you will die.
P.S. How did you get it in? Those braces are welded? I don't see how a perfectly fitting piece would get installed. Maybe I need to look at better pictures. (trying to help, really) I get it...the corners aren't welded. I know a guy who works at a boat factory. You need his help.

Oh man....THIS is disturbing. Watch the chappelle video to the end. Then the screen becomes other videos you can click on. All Little Jon but one???? Huh? WHAT?
The oddball video is a commercial for a triple-reed duck call. Jace Robertson. The youtube conspiracy...

To get the old one out I had to cut it in pieces and it only came out easy cuz it was rotton. The only way to get it in one piece perfect fitting would be to remove the riveted braces and there is no way I was doing that. It is good thick aluminum and in great shape structurally. Do you really think it will fail killing me?
