Nope, like he said, I havnt seen anyone there since before memorial weekend. The thing that suck is its only about a mile from my house, so when that light lets them through, I either have one minute to pull out of my drive, or wait 5 minutes for the line to move through.

While you wait, Think about if they did not repair the bridge.
Think about waiting forever because it broke on you.
It'll be alright.

thats a piss poor out look to think of how much worse things could be Betty, why things are the way they are, starting a job of this magnitude and leaving is inexcusable

The bridge was fine, they're putting in a wider culvert so the can expand the shoulders a little bit for bikers and walkers. It was only supposed to take a few weeks.

You ever slap a peice of duct tape over the traffic light sensor eye right before your drive through so the light doesn't ever change? Just wondering

Gotta love Michigan, gotta pray for snow so the roads are better! UP roads are like virgin autoban because they only get used for one month out of the year.

I never said those didn't suck either, they do. But roads in the UP aren't any better.

It probably will only take a couple weeks, once they actually start working.

I just wanna rent them the cranes that sit there. It's long term rental, not getting used much so little wear and tear, and for the most part the lifting they do is relatively easy unless they are driving piles. Never seen a crane on a bridge job doing anything high production.

Can't tell what size that crane is from the pic, but based on what I usually see on a road or bridge job the monthly lease on that rig is probably a minimum of $25,000.

You two apparently have never been to Berrien county...

There is a "road" by my dad's that has pavement in the middle (about 3 feet, just enough for the yellow lines that are no longer present) and the outside is dirt... Not dirt placed there on purpose, top soil mixed with old black top. It is covered in what would be pot holes but instead are just holes.

You can't go the speed limit on the road (55) it will rock your world! You can't go less than the speed limit, it will rock your world. The only choice is to gun it to 75 or 80 so you skip from level surface to level surface.
