4th of July

Postby Olly » Tue Jul 03, 2012 11:20 am

Don't forget to remember all the men and women who gave everything so we could drink beers and shoot guns tomorrow.

So what plans does everyone have? I'm going down to Drummond Island for a full day of four wheeling.

Sent from your honey hole.

Lots of vodka. Lots of booze. Fireworks. Tons of food. A great time will be had.

Haven't got any plans yet. Our usual plans fell through this year so it might just be blowing crap up at the house.

Haven't committed to it. Not sure if I'm going to. Money is a little less, but the schedule is awsome.

My son's sixth b'day tomorrow so it's whatever he wants to do. Probably go play in the sand or fish.

Very nice, I love it there. When I used to be really big into Jeeps I would go all the time.

You fish and golf 4 days a week. How could you possibly need a better schedule?

I did just take the Gadsden flag down and ran up the Stars and Stripes. Only for a day, though. This flag is only for special occasions- my grandmother had it flown over the Capitol for me back in '77. For anyone interested, I think they still do it- you just have to contact your rep and pay for the flag, then they send it to you with a certificate. This ones a pretty nice cloth 3x5, but I don't know if they still use the same ones.

If you would also like any flag flown on any CG vessel we'll do that for you. Any armed service will fly a flag anywhere for you.

My little girls b day was yesterday, we are going to have the party at the BBQ at my parents house. My mom rented the kids a bounce house, they are gonna flip out when they see it. After a few beers I may join them.

The wife and I are just being lazy around the house. I may start on the camo on the interior of the duck boat and then it pool and beer time.
