We have had 47.8-49.5 for the last two weeks.

Fall in and you'll be looking for your willy for a week.

On a side note, our coho are gone. We sucked rudder this morning.

I retract the sea sick waddler pattern. Just had a long inside conversation with a fishing buddy. It's not worth a mention. To be honest my buddy ties all his own flies and names them shit like HIVtastic (awesome steely lure) Fuck Canada (nasty black glow laker lure) Poop pants (goby pattern for early browns). Just parouse the atomik website. I like all those ones.

Its so funny, you asked in other threads and in my head I was like WTF is saying this for? I seriously thought you wanted me to give you a rundown of pictures of broads and dirtbags flashing people. In my head I was like 'im not going to spend too much time on this'.

John, when you're ready to get serious, I've got some king flies for you.

They might even sell them on your shore.

The shitty thing for him is that had he not slapped that soldier in North Africa, he probably would have been in charge of things. I guess political correctness really did exist to a certain degree before now.

My buddy just did all these up for our summer LOC derby.

He's a real crafty dude. Ties all my steelhead gear for the rivers too. Member when I told you I put all my lund baron gear on my buddies boat...this is the dude. Known him since I 6. Look into our LOC derbies. You other great lakers should do this huge boost to fisheries. Awesome tourny and exciting set up cuz of the big purses!

And another thing we do in summer on at least one rod is use the magnum big weenie flasher with the magnum ito flies. Sometimes those huge presentations are key.

Are any of you guys running anything out of the norm with success?

Looking good beef!

Can't identify all the material through the tubes but it looks like quite the smattering.

We don't run anything out of the norm.

90% of our kings are caught on the same three flasher/fly combos.

When they don't want that stuff, we leave it on anyway. When fishing gets tough, you want your proven baits out there.

Yup. 42nd, something frog, and something white glow on white, throw in a purple pattern or blue dolphin now and again. Go half and half with spoons. Usually a yellow nbk or whatever wows me when I open the case. I'm always after the ultimate lure so I like to change up, but when it's tourny time theres not much messing around.
