Been a perfect spring here. No ugly kansas, texas, oklahoma michigan storms. We have good weather. Must suck living in one of them "we have the worst weather" places like that. Waking up to birds singing instead of chainsaws is nice.
Must suck to live in one of them states where the weather us most foul.
Lets here about what good weather you got?
Texas, Michigan Oklahoma, And Kansas ppl spent many pages of text convincing me that the weather is horrible there.
Dont try and tell me it is nice too.

Air conditioning has been on for a month and half now. If it gets above about 70 degrees the a/c comes on.

My house has concrete floors. Cool it with night air. Around 9-10am I close it up and stay cool.
It has only been above 90 twice and we are enjoying it. 5 bucks a day saved.
My ac is still sitting on the floor.

There are times in the fall and winter, my a/c might be turned on also. I can't stand to be hot when I'm sleeping.

Used to live in a mobile home.
Had a black tarred roof.
There were days we ran the furnace at night and ac in the day.
Hated that. Enjoying the luxury of sleeping with windows open.
Trailer windows are a pita.

Depends on how bad you've been.

Mines been on for less than a week, weather has been great for the last month. Doesn't get turned on until it reaches 78° inside the house, keep it set around 74.

Hell is cold and the devil is blue. Some lighter-fluid company changed that.
We have a yellow devil here.

My bucket list includes going to Denali, Yellowstone, and Yosemite.
Made it to Denali...thank God.
I think the other two have transformed into something Id rather not see.
I hear its crowded, noisy, and trashed by tons of ppl in suv's, 4-wheelers, and snowmobiles.
Commercialized.

Had my ac on for a month too. Has been pretty mild here. Need a new thermostat bc the el cheapo one I have doesn't work very well. Lookin into one that I can run from a smart phone so I can cut the ac off from work when I catch the wife running it 68 degrees.

I was looking into security systems for a project for work, and this is one we had to research. This seems like a pretty good deal. It's $10 a month, no contract, buy and install whatever add-ons yourself. Fully interactive, controllable with a smartphone, laptop, etc. You can watch live video from your home via phone, turn lights on and off, control thermostats, motion sensors, whatever you want. No big packages to buy. The thermostat package is $180, and that gets you all you need. After that, you can buy cameras, add motion sensors, glass break sensors, appliance controls, whatever you want. Still $10 a month. Check it out. Compared to most of the other rip-off artists (ADT, Brinks, Protection 1, etc) it looked like a good option.

Totally secure...rofl.
Labrador/Remington security kicks ass.
Bought a programable thermostat a while back.
Very hi tech. Runs on batteries.
Bonjour.

Damn bo! 62?

As energy defficient my house is...It would only be 62 between December and February. I don't think I could keep it constant below 66 at my house during the summer.

How about when you're in Arkansas? I wish I lived in a place where people only broke in when I was home with the dog and my gun.

A few summers back we had "the summer with no summer" here.
Anybody remember the boat crowd whining?
I worked doing mucho siding. Hardly rained and never got too hot.
This year is similar...so far.
