Has anybody any idea about these? What came in them, if anything? They're cans, obviously, but they're attached to a box about the size of a shoe box.

I'd try holding onto the cans while you jam stuff in the boxes

No, none of that is correct. I'm not a junk dealer now nor am I into antiquing. I put up ads on facebook pages and some local websites saying I buy old decoys, calls and waterfowl related items. I'm not a decoy trader any further than google and ebay take me. I put up an ad, a lady responded with these. She wants $10 each. They appear to be quality and hand carved, because they're not identical. At least at first glance they were not. I just don't have a use for them, but if they're somewhat relevant in some way, I'd buy them and toss them in my attic. I might buy them just to make an interesting box for a Christmas gift. I didn't know if a bottle of Jack Daniels with the DU logo came in them or if they were an AVON product. My buddy got a super nice scene of the last supper, he thought it was an antique. It turned out to be made by Avon, the makeup company. I don't want makeup canvasbacks.

For $10, I think an AVON product would be ok. Even if you throw spare change in them...

I think this is where something clever about tapatalk should go.

you should send a PM to GKR who is a junk dealer, and knows more about old decoys etc than most.

For $10 apiece they're kinda cool. I'd pick em up and find a spot for em regardless of what came in em

Similar, but not in size. These are about 10 inches long and 6 inches wide.

West coast decoy collectors yeilded a response about shoe store displays and dog urns. I'm going to assume neither of those are correct.
