Got one? Am making some hummus and would like to see how you guys do it before I make a fool of myself (again) by telling you how I do it. Soneone else will have a better way and tell me I am doing it all fucking wrong or using the wrong kind of food processor or something.
You go first.

Sorry, I'm more of a smores type of guy.
First, I get a pack of graham crackers, Hersheys milk chocolate bar and a package of marshmallows.
1. roast a full size marshmallow over a campfire, until golden brown. (careful, do not burn or you have to start over)
2. take 1 graham craker and 2 squares from chocolate bar and put the chocolate on one of the cracker.
3.Then take hot out of the campfire marshmallow and put on top of chocolate.
4. Cover marshmallow with a second graham craker.
Eat and repeat.
If your grandson is there, you will be making more for him than you but, it will be worth it.

i dont make authentic hummus but

two cans of garbanzanos

white wine or juice from the bean can
cayenne pepper

goes in blender. Add liquid as needed during blending. Dont go crazy on the red onion or it will be snappy as hell

What is tahini?

I was with guy from duck club shopping for groceries. Picked up some hummus. I thought it was a single serving of lasagna or something. Clueless.
He said, "you never had hummus before?" bought it and some chips.
Later that night after I was half moonshined up he reminded me about the snacks. We had burned one so I was like, "bring it on".
We ate the whole thing.
Hummus is good. Like bean dip only way better.
Try it if you havent. It wont keep you out of heaven.
K?

x2 on the cumin but try lime juice instead of lemon, compliments the cumin better.

Wife got up this morning...said, "lets make hummus". Eww. Lol
So I googled a recipe...
They said start by making a base with tahini and lemon juice. The secret to making it really smooth is the order you add the ingredients...bla bla.
She said,"wtf is tahini and where is it in there store?"." Forget it, will just buy hummus "and thats the end of story.
Damn...
I looked it up and the stuff is 8-10 bucks for a lil jar.
Fuck it.
Epic hummus failure.

find a whole foods store, they will grind it fresh and it is pricey but it doesn't take a lot, hummus is 90% garbanzo bean

Saw that commercial the other day. I thought it was a joke for the first 20 seconds or so. It was even funnier when I realized it was real.

Don't listen to Reb. Just go get a tin of Frito-Lay Bean Dip and call it good. 1/3 the price, same texture, and much better taste. Especially on Fritos.

The lid on that container...is misleading.
Open it up and it has chunks of black n green olives.
Good. Good.
Came from walmart or TK would call it gourmet.
I like to spread hummus on a flour tortilla. Roll it up like a joint.
Pop in microwave ten or fifteen secs.
Mmmmm
Use hummus like glue when making burritos.
