Sell truck?

Wife and I have been kicking around the idea of selling our truck, 2008 F150. The truck IS paid off and that fact alone really hinders my decision. Would be selling it to my parents and buying a '95ish F150 straight 6 then keeping the rest. The extra money would be great to supplement my lost hours at work while at school and I ride my bike every day anyways. Truck would just be used for hunting, fishing and working around the farm. What say you?

Sell it. There's no point having a nice truck if you're gonna use it for the dirty business. You can always buy another one.

Don't get the strait 6. Motor may last forever but it only gets 10-11 miles to the gallon and has no power. I have a 94.

That's where I'm at as well. Is a base model plastic floor mat STX but I'm always hesitant of taking it into anything.

If you plan on trying to haul anything strait 6s are not engines of choice.

Sell it and don't look back. I sold an 05 Dodge and got a 95 Cherokee. Didn't need the truck, wanted a Jeep, and cash is always good.

Don't sell it. Figure on driving it for at least 300,000 miles. The only way to come out on vehicles is to drive them into the ground. My car is 13 years old and my F150 is 20 years old.

All better now!

What you sold/bought is likes apples and oranges compared to what he wants. I just sold a 92 with the straight 6, Engine wouldnt die, but no power and towing anything, ANYTHING, sucked. That and dodges gassers suck, just ask Jehler, his almost killed the Dock and Hoist crew several times.

Keep the current truck, its paid off, not costing anything more than reg and insurance.

BTW, Assa, you got the better end of the deal, that jeep will run forever. My 94 grand had 300K when i sold it and is still going around town somewhere.
