Well I am on crutches now. Sunday night I was picking up crawfish traps, and FUBAR'ed my knee. I was walking across a lock and slipped off. The log was forked and my foot went under the main log, and my leg landed on the forked off branch just under my knee, and gravity+leverage worked it's magic. Doc said I definitely sprained it, and I might have torn my ACL, but they cannot do an MRI on it until the swelling goes down. There might go my football season, although I am going to hunt on crutches if I am on them that long.

Been there man. Not the fall off the log part, but the ACL part. Like AK said...don't rush it. While it may not seem like it now, getting back to football sooner than you should is not worth the issues it could cause for the rest of your life.

This is the absolute truth. I ended up having a knee replacement b/c I rushed back from reconstructive knee surgery.

Tore my pcl, mcl and meniscus in high school...sucked but do what the doc says and take pt seriously and you'll be good

That sucks D&B. Hate to hear that. Had a friend mess his knee up a few years ago and it hurt him for a while. Hope it heels quickly.

I went to my doctor today, she said I tore my quad, and I should be back on it in 6 weeks.
