Selling an Xbox I picked up just to kill down time and work but now selling that I have a new job. Have a Craigslist scammer on the hook doing the regular send bank check and have a shipping company pick it up trick. Time to have some fun where should I take him with it?

You should get the fake check and try to cash it and when it doesn't work keep asking for another. Or must mail him a box of literal crap.

I had one of those same guys email me yesterday morning. He said:
Thanks for the response. I am willing to pay your asking price. I will pay by Check as its the only way i can pay you at the moment. I will make arrangement for the pickup after payment have been received and cash by you. I don't mind adding an extra $30 so you can keep it in my favor.. I would have loved to come take a look at it but i am presently away for church convention. If you're comfortable with my method of payment, reply with your full name, phone # and mailing address where payment will be sent please ( No P.O Box Addresses ). I will appreciate it if you take the posting off CL today and consider it sold to me. As for the pick-up, it would be handled after you receive your payment.

Expecting to hear from you soon.
Warm Regards.

I wrote him back and told him I would accept American dollars or gold as payment at the time the item is picked up.

I have not heard back from him yet.

One of my buddies told me them getting your full name and address (thats why it says no P.O. Boxes) is the first step to try to pull off identity theft.

I was browsing web sites that scam the Nigerian 419 scammers back and got a good chuckle from this pic they got them to take.

I think they rely on just spamming large numbers. You can set up and mail server to send out millions if emails for free. If out of 50 million emails they get one dumb person then it was worth it.
