Remember that year???

The year I wrecked my boat. The 2010-11 season.
The summer of '10 ...lol. There was no summer as I recall. Didnt get hot here at all. The boat crowd was whiny all summer.
That year/season was a kick-ass duck season with the cold fronts we all dream about.
Point is... this summer is acting a whole lot like the summer of '10. Am excited as heck about it.
God I hope I am right.

That was the first season I really gave duck hunting a real go. I did way better that year than I did the next season, and I didn't have a first clue in how to kill ducks.

Remember 3 years ago yesterday? I was 3 years and two days younger than I will be tomorrow. It was an amazing time. As I am sure you will all recall. I remember thinking then, "I wonder what will I be doing three years and two days from now?!" I guess I will find out tomorrow.

Well, today was the day!! So far it sucks!! I guess it is Karma for hijacking AB's thread. Day started off ok, just a normal day. Went to Home Depot got some materials then drove almost an hour outside of town to the job we are working on up in the hills. Pulled in the driveway, got out of the truck, damn tire was going flat!! Started changing the tire and my spare only had 12 pounds of pressure in it! Luckily, the home owner had an air compressor. Lost about 45 minutes of work time this morning, then had to leave the job early to go get the tire fixed. Today sucks so far. I can't believe I waited 3 years and 2 days for this!!!!
