Impressive but Colonel Motherway, my wife's grandfather, has that beat.
He served in the US Navy, transferred to the US Army cavalry, then served under Pershing in the 761st tank battalion (Black Panther Brigade), then tank command (the Lightning Brigade) , then get this...the German SS. (he was a spy)
What a man. He scared the hell out of me especially when he started yelling in German.

I got the bug to hunt bears a few years ago. Went in Georgia, but never had any luck. Then I moved to Illinois, not a lot of bears in the prairie state, so I haven't gone in over a decade.

Very jealous.

PA where I grew up is a great place to hunt. I just haven't had the time to get back. My Uncle has a cabin in the heart of bear country. I've just not had the time to go. This working for a living crap. I have to prioritize my vacation and what I could afford for hunting I've used for duck or goose.

Or fishing in NC with family which turned out great. I hope you guys didn't get beat up too bad.

I came through the storm fine, but there's many places in NC, coastal to inland, that have total devastation from the flooding. From what the national weather service reports, the neuse and tar rivers will crest today or tomorrow which will be real bad for folks in and around there.

It's a 2 year old boar. Skinned out, the hide is as tall as me.
