Just need to be an early riser. I was up for an hour and already working when they went off.

I think it is mallard/mottled mix drake with a mottled hen. The drake definitely has the Mallard speculum and other features. The other doesn't look like it has any white on its wings.

What do you think?

Looks like more than a little mallard in its back bumper to me. But I didn't attend its conception...

99% of the parts are normal FJ40 parts that were sold here in North America. Parts aren't really an issue on most things luckily.

There's a season of some sort coming? I'm just glad to see WF back from the no-fly zone.

Imagine what was going thru my head when on July 1 I noticed two things.
1. "Duckinatorizor" is permanently banned from DHC (again).
Make one little joke about a kid in a batman costume scaring camera crew at alleged theater shooting or a traveling duck decoy named Kenny and you're done.
2. WFF in limbo. Said, "not secure" or something like that. (uh oh)

My pea brain sprung into action and dreamed up a "Russian hackers" narrative hasty quick.

On the lighter side...the countdown to September goose and teal season begins.
Better grease your trailer bearings and check the tires then work on your motors...make sure the plug is around somewhere etc.

Been building fence in my days off for the last month or so. Boggles me that I can make more in a month pounding steel then I can milling titanium F-35 fighter jet parts.

Plus I can be outside and get to see some of the best scenery MT has to offer.

I'm a great fan of working outdoors, but can live happily ever after without stringing another fence.
