Boot, Red, Gad, Box calling all cops

Just got pulled over and was issued a ticket for talking on a cell phone. I was shocked. The phone was no where near my head or hands. I have no idea but they said I was talking on the phone with it to my ear. I pleaded with them to look through my smart phone and they refused. I pleaded with them to search my vehicle for any other phones they declined. I called his supervisor once I got home and provided a complaint mostly concerned for the next person in the next situation of higher consequence. What should I bring to court other than my phone bill?

nothing. You're screwed. Just pray the cop doesn't show up. Was your phone on speaker?

I havent made a phone call on it since the 9th until I got home and called his supervisor. The phone was entirely disengaged. Hadnt made a text since earlier in the day. At least two hours ago.

I have 5% window tint. They wouldn't see me talking on the phone or singing to the radio.

Here's a question, if your listening to voicemail, does that shoe up on your call log?

Is it illegal to listen to voicemail while driving?

He had a trainee with him, kid looked like he was 15, but was in uniform. I think that had something to do with it.

YOu know everyone has Egos Red. Honest mistake, but geez, my reaction which was polite and filled with sirs should have accounted for something. I was giving up all privacy to prove my innocence. He should be a better poker player than that.

I would say if the phone bill shows no calls anywhere near the ticket time (ie a 20 min buffer either way) you should be clear. I would also say my opinion doesn't mean shit in a legal situation either.

Ha! Just wrote a cell phone ticket. Not 100%, sure but she had her hand up to her ear. And I'm sure she's talked on the phone in the past and gotten away with it plenty of times. So I feel good

Writes a ticket for cell phone usage and then gets on an online forum and texts about it. Makes sense to me...
