I learned today that my father passed away. He was 73.

He always encouraged me to hunt, and was a believer in the 2nd Amendment. He took me on many an upland hunt when I was too young to carry a gun, and many more when I could. We killed a lot of pheasants together.

I am in shock.

He was a big Chiefs fan, and in fact was at Super Bowl 4 when they won it. I was a kid and watched it on tv.

Life is short. Enjoy every day and live it to the fullest.

Time is a predator that stalks us our entire life. My dad gave that predator one hell of a chase.

Not really. He had some medical issues- diabetic, heart disease, etc. But he has quit smoking a year ago.
He was mowing the grass and feeling fine on Monday.

It would appear that food poising is what got him, and it happened quickly. He lives in Europe, communication is poor, there are 7 time zone changes, and I don't know a lot except that I will be flying a long way very soon.

A loss is never an easy thing to go thru tk. Loosing a loved one is an acceptable time in my book to let it out.
