I've seen them catch fish on my place and on public waters, but I have never seen one dive for flounder like this!

I was watching this two weekends ago on a lake. One hovered above the water and then made a sharp dive and huge splash about 200 yards away. He flew away with a pike in his talons. It's pretty cool to see.

Pretty cool. A lot of the open water duck blinds here have ospreys that nest in them in the summer.


A lot of times when you approach a blind that has a nest, one will fly away from the blind with a fish in it's talons and often times drop it 50 to 100 yards away like he is trying to lure you away.

The in-flight doggie shake is truly amazing.
