Your right and the genetics of those gators on that show must be for smaller-sized heads and body lengths too. :lol:

I'd not want to get them in any bind over it, but a pretty well known duck hunter once showed me a photo of a 14-footer that he and a pretty well known boat builder managed to rope and hog tie for pictures and measurement, albeit with a length of rope. Caught it in swamp with plenty of trees to tie off to and let it fight, but still... And I believe it was as claimed. Allegedly, of course.
