How many shells?

How many shells do you guys carry with you hunting?
If I'm specifically targeting ducks-10 shells
Geese-10
combo/mix-a full box/25

I watched my brother put twelve rounds on a goldeneye once at ranges from 20 feet to 20 yards. It would dive and every time it came up for air, it got peppered again. It eventually just gave up and got its neck wrung. The pellets just riccocheted off it's back and it had a really bad case of road rash.

The smell got distracting. Wader farts are the worst.

I think the most I ever shot was around 6 rounds. Not exactly proud of it but it is what it is.

Yeah, I'd rather have a clean kill, but I refuse to let a cripple escape.
