4 for me. I shouldn't surf, raft, or ski, but I'm ok to cross a creek, change a tire, and crash land airplanes
Assa is making moves again...
"Clawing your way uphill will generate heat and lead you back to the ski area. And ski patrol is likely going to search for you on that same track. Answers (b) and (c) have a 50/50 chance of leading you deeper into the wilderness."

I only got 3. Sorry but if I'm crash landing a plane, it's gonna be over open water and I'm bailing before impact. And when surfing fuck them, watch this shit!

I got 7, but really 8 because "throw your hands in the air and say Jesus take the wheel" was too good of an answer to not pick, lol

I got 5 but disagree with the tire changing one. If you in the middle of changing a tire then you have a jack going from the frame to the ground thus making their tires insulating you theory wrong.

6 out of 13...barely alive, but seriously, like I really care about some surfers giving me the stink eye.

got 4. seems pretty dumb to me. What does surfing or running away from a dog have to do with survival?

Agreed! Ive got a pretty good sense of direction...
TEST YOUR SURVIVAL SKILLS Your Score Is: 10 Out of 13 Go ahead, brag about your sense of direction. We know you already do. Browse our survival guide for more tips and techniques.
Also this one...
13. INCORRECT The question was: Reverse moderate hypothermia by climbing into your sleeping bag...
You answered: (d) Naked, with a friend
The correct answer is: (c) Clothed
As long as your clothes are dry, get straight into your bag—with hot-water bottles if possible. A warm body can help, but if your friend is already cold, you're just risking two cases of hypothermia. That chestnut about getting naked was likely invented by a lonely wilderness instructor. For more on hypothermia, read our science of survival field guide.
If your friend is warm and you are cold, it is best to get naked and use your cloths as a blanket along with your sleeping bag.
The cloths form a thermal barrier between you and your friend and slow down the warming process.

When i was a kid, we had this survival trivia game. One of the questions was what to do if an extraterestial aproached you with an intent to harm.
What do you guys think the answer was?

That was my answer too. A guy that I hunt with was stationed in Alaska and the first day he was there his CO told him to sleep naked I'm his sleeping bag, and that it would be warmer that way. He'd didn't listen and almost froze to death that night. Clothes trap cold air around your body while just getting naked causes all the air within the bag to get warmed, keeping you warmer. Quiz is wrong.

The quiz is stupid. I've slept in -50 temps and it just sucks. We slept in our polar weight long johns and wool caps and did fine. No one was getting naked in their bags.

your clothes have little air conditioners or something?
Clothes trap air around your body the same way a sleeping bag traps air around your body. It's how insulation works, it's often referred to as layering. Only reason to take your clothes off is if they were wet or frozen.

There is a government agency involved, but no.
Mind you this was a game sold with the U.S. National Park Service's name on it... so it should have been somewhat wilderness legit.
According to the "DOD (Department of Defense)" if you are approached by an Alien/Extraterrestrial your best bet for self defense is to "poke it in the eyes, as the eyes are likely to be the only known weak body feature that will be easily recognizable."
No joke!

The tires don't insulate you. A car is still going to get struck by lightning if it's going to get struck, regards of if it's on 4 tires or 3 plus a jack. The body and frame direct the current away from you so as long as you aren't holding onto the roof and the floor, you'll be fine
