I didn't say that it wasn't his. I'm definitely not known as a tree hugger but if you aren't a little sad when you see a tree like that come down you obviously don't value being in nature. The things that tree would have seen and lived through would be mind boggling. It's no different than looking at an old gun and saying "if that thing could talk". it was getting rotten in the bottom 4 foot of trunk, it was the largest diameter tree i have see in iowa.

had me worried

im not very good at trees, just some certain types of bushes
there are some monster sized logs off this old boy limbs bigger then most trees. sad to see it go but better then destroying half the house
