To all the credit card haters

Got double charged this month by Comcast. (I hate them so, so much.) I called them and they of course show no record of a double charge and therefore can do nothing, but if I drive over to the comcast store during business hours and show them, they can give me a credit. Of course I have a job and in no way can I ever make their hours. This is of course after I waited on hold for 10 minutes only to be told I was trying to talk to the wrong department.

So I call my CC company tell them what happened. Account immediately credited.

Total hold time for comcast 27 minutes. Then talking to the completely unhelpful rep for another 5.

Call my CC. They are just sweet as can be. The rep even sounded hot. They pick up after the first ring and the whole issue is solved in a matter of 6 minutes.

I'm willing to bet any amount of money you cannot mail cash to comcast to pay your bill. A check probably. And I think everyone knows where I stand on checks. I am not spending the time to address a check and mail it in every month. That's full retard.

we don't have comcast so i don't know, but i know that ours very much accepts cash sent through the mail.

just to piss you off, i'm thinking of trading my barber a 1/4 cord of wood for a haircut, since that is acceptable payment.

i'll pay good money if a guy has developed a trade and is good at it, that's spending wisely. i used to pay pretty much the same for the shit tastic job by the chick at great clips. these days i'm getting a good cut for 20 bucks, he really does clean you up with hot lather and straight, and he really will barter for anything. he told me he's taken reloads for ducks and many cords of wood. That's hard to beat in today's DJJ plastic society.

if you watch the newer version of Dallas, he's the barber in that show. Finishes the cut with a splash of Bay Rum and a massage, i come out feeling and looking like a million bucks.

128, but that all depends on who you buy from. Some guys stack wood loose, but ours are always solid as possible.

I understand that but if you have two cords of wood end to end, one of them you can see light through the other you cannot, which one is closest to a full cord? Your toothpick situation is about as close as you can possibly get.

i get good temps in the stove, i just can't maintain a good long burn. part of that is that they didn't put a damper on the flue, so i have unmanageable exhaust, meanwhile my intake is choking off anything under 5 (yes, you read that right). I think that the landlord is dicking me and hasn't cleaned the flue in years, as well as shoddy at best installation of the woodstove. i honestly wouldn't be surprised if the whole place went up while i was asleep, based o what i've seen around here.

Hackberry is good stuff.

My parents burn ash all winter, and heat a 2600 ft house doing it. That stuff burns hot.

We burn aspen at the hunting shack. Feed that bitch every hour and we can barely keep an 800 foot shack at 70 if its 20 degrees out. Even worse if its windy.
