Nice, I used to drive a bankout wagon. Self propelled though.

8 row at 12 mph will still clear a field pretty fast. :)

Hell, a lot of folks around here still use 6 row Gleaners. But we don't have the big fields like you guys do out there. They can still shell some damn corn, though.

 All these new high-dollar combines are pissing me off. Not that long ago I could fill three pillowcases with corn out of every corner. Now I'm lucky to fill one from walking the whole damn field.

Old farmer that my family has known forever still uses an old case to combine his fields. Last year we picked up at least four 55 gallon drums of corn out of his field. It was still on the cob but the deer ate the shit out of it. They'd eat that whole corn before they'd eat the corn that came out of the feeder.

I like cob corn for deer better, since it seems to keep the squirrels off of it just a little bit longer. The coons will also sit and eat a whole corn pile in one evening, but they seem to just carry off an ear or two when it's on the cob. But it's hard to find on the cob around here.

We got some really cool trailcam photos last year where you could see the deer eating it off the cob. They just pick it up and chew it off. Kinda looks like they got a big cigar in their mouth.

Years ago, a farmer who has a bunch of land I hunt on switched from his old Cases to New Holland , all new most with tracks. There is so little grain left behind that it has limited the hunting of geese in my fields.

This is quite a sight to see in giant wheat fields. What's even better is standing at the end of the field during pheasant season while milo is being cut. The kids have a blast.

My grandkids are likely going to be planting and harvesting with horses, if not my kids, at the rate we're going.
