I might have to try that. I've heard use the shop vac to blow them up, squirt with soapy water to find the leaks and spray them with flex seal/plastidip/aqua seal.

sent from a phancy fone

Hold on- do you inflate them, or suck the air in, and soak them with camp dry while the shop vac is still running?

yep, pull,s it into any pin holes .im shure that if you look around you could find a product better than camp-dry. but that,s what the young man wanted to use .but i think the vac is the trick .need to look up something better to seal with .i have a new set of wader,s for warm temp,s but it,s nice to know a way to seal leak,s .his point with the camp-dry was to keep them breathable.work,s? who know,s ,seal.s u-betcha,last,s ?? we shall see.

Could we get some clarification? Is it suck or blow? WTF is camp dry? Is one treatment enough or does it take several?

Inquiring minds need to know.

So sucks the camp dry in under suction of the vac. Does the camp dry go in a tub of water or how is it applied?

I can't believe how many of you guys have never heard of camp dry. Its in a spray can. I use it on my blind bag and hunting coats.

Rain or snow probably isn't much of an issue in Texas anyways.

camp dry spray -put hose to shop-vac in suction side, put inside wader,s put a rope around wader,s let suck flat ,just wet wader,s down .hit seem,s heavy .let dry 30 min,s do this till can is gone. it was about 4 coat,s. like i say bet someone sell,s something better than camp-dry. it,s the shop-vac trick that make,s this work so well .back to what i say as to how long it hold,s up we will see.

Pretty sure that if you want "breathable" waders that are really that a skeet choked load of 9s would be a good start. There just ain't no "breathable and waterproof" - unless the waders are doing all their breathing through the top opening. Shut that off, and "breathables" lose a lot of their warm weather charm.
