I saw a spike get smacked by a truck towing two trailers full of hay one time. I was going to Fort Brag for the weekend and the dumb shit ran out into the road. It looked like a slinky with its front part of its body going left and the ass end going right. With its guts across the road. Friggin gross!!!

I've never seen one of the elk get hit, although I know it happens quite often. That would be kind of hard to pull off if one was to hypothetically see one freshly hit, or hit it themselves, and hypothetically take it home. This is all speculation, though.
