...keep my niece in your thoughts or prayers, I'd appreciate it. Don't know all the details, but was informed yesterday by my wife who's kind of in the dark too, that my 16 yr old niece was admitted into a psychiatric ward. Apparently she was having suicidal thoughts. How this came to light is unknown. I guess she was under watch for a week. I believe she came home today. Anyhow she's a functioning autistic and much of her childhood has been tough. Always considered herself an outcast cause of it. Funny thing is the last few years, she's done real well. Has friends. Preparing for some art school. She's an incredible artist. Anyhow that's all I know.
Niece is from my wife's side of the family. If anyone on my side of the family was suicidal, they'd go out with a bang...snort some coke, rob a bank and shoot it out with the cops!
