A conversation in the big game forum made me think about offering this here. I offer a couple hunts a year to kids and vets each year, and post this same info on a couple local forums. VA has several days set aside just for youth hunts. One in Oct and one in Feb for waterfowl, and Im sure they have one for deer but Ive never looked it up. Most of the kids I take want to be on the water or in a blind. I also have several double man stands for any fathers that would like to take their kids on a deer hunt. For deer, I can almost promise at least several doe. Ducks, well you know how that goes.

I can also set up a field goose hunt on my farm as another option.
I took a father and son last year for the Oct waterfowl day. The boy killed his first pair of ducks with a single shot .410. I was pretty impressed on how fast he could reload that thing. He put a hurtin on those wood ducks for sure. The Feb. date I took two brother and their dad on a walk in duck hunt. Of course it was 60 deg, sunny, and calm. Not much flew but we had a great time.
If you have or know of any youngins needing a spot in a blind let me know. I know most of you are a good ways away, but wanted to offer.
