I have steadily resisted paying for the "upgrade" known as Tapatalk 4. I bought it once and refused to buy it again, its not the 3 bucks - its the principal. I got a notification today for an update, its been crashing a lot on me lately so I hit the update.
After the update the widget on my screen for tapatalk was gone, went digging around and found it. It now appears I have tapa 4, they must've listened to the complaints.

Anybody else try the update?

I had the new one for a while and it updated free like you did on my Galaxy S3 but since I had to down grade do this older phone im back on the old tapatalk.

Yea, I had the beta version and then one day it expired and disappeared
