If I grill duck breasts I slice em in half. Cooks quicker.

No. I like to eat ducks. I put too much Montreal steak seasonings on but it'll do.
Now for my mid day nap.

That mud we hunted is even worse now. Cant get to the south side.
Clinton is drying up fast. :?

I had to think about why the normally hard bottoms are so soft n mucky. In one word..WAVES.
I can imagine the north fork sucks bad. There always was a huge flat at the far north end that sucked.
If a guy had a surface drive he could run way up the other fork and I saw a guy do it Saturday.
I kept expecting him to run aground but 'll be damned, he ran past the cable and kept going.
Wow!

for the past 11 years, there's been a very large lily pad area on the north end of North Fork. I hunt either on the east of west end of the pads. Just can't get past them to the north where the woodies love to land. Too shallow, silted in.

Check out google earth and you can see them.

Life long central Illinois...father grew up in Wisconsin, first time at the Packer Hall of Fame was in 1968 when i was 4. Been a die-hard fan ever since.

Betty hunts in another part of the lake, big lake. I go to his side when the forks start freezing up. Since I know what he looks like now, I'll be looking out for him.

Yeah. What he said. Its not that great...yet. Illinois is a big state and we have other options besides the power plant lakes.
Its not Arkansas, thats for sure. If you want to wirk your ass off...be my guest.
We could care less about competition because you gotta compete with me. Plan on hauling 84 decoys minimum.
Big Water...need I say more?

Gock, if you want to team up, I'm good with that.
I USE THE SITE TO MEET OTHER HUNTERS AND HUNT WITH THEM!
Both sites. 8-)
